Description
  • In an information search processing system having a function of searching for a term indicated by an annotation as a search key, an access performance to an important document is improved. A search process is started by giving an annotation to a part to be a query (S100, S102). The character string extraction unit 502 extracts a character string close to the annotation (S110), and calculates the importance of the annotation (S114). The important word extraction unit 504 morphologically analyzes the character string, divides the character string into words, and gives a part of speech (S120). The keyword extractor 504 determines the keyword importance using the proper noun as the keyword (S124). The importance calculation unit 506 calculates the query importance based on the annotation importance and the important word importance (S130). The query is sent to the search request specifying unit 500 (S132). The document search unit 522 searches the document DB 224 (S140). The ranking unit 524 accumulates the query importance of the search key for each document (S146), sorts the search results in the order of document scores (S152), and returns the result to the viewer 102 (S154).
