Description

  • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents sending out apparatus capable of improving convenience, when a desired channel is selected at a receiving terminal side.

    SOLUTION: A receiving means 4a at a thumbnail information generation device 4 receives contents information of a plurality of channels to be multicast to receiving terminals 6-1 to 6-m. A thumbnail generation means 4b generates the thumbnail information indicative of contents of the content information with a compressed information amount for each of the plurality of channels. A sending out apparatus 3 multicasts the thumbnail information on the plurality of channels generated by the thumbnail generation means 4b onto the receiving terminal 6-1 to 6-m.
