| - PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus and information processing method which allow easier preparation of documents in a format tailored to conference participants and a presentation audience.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus comprises: information receiving means for receiving input data including at least one of a text, a figure, and a table; document creation means capable of creating multiple documents of different format type; modification accepting means for accepting an instruction for modifying a document of a selected format type; and historical data storage means for storing data on the content of an instruction and a format type selected for modification. If the historical data storage means has stored data on the content of an instruction or a format type selected for modification which is corresponding to input information, another document is created by the document creation means based on the stored data.
